A renewable power plant operator located in the MENA region, utilizing Asset Performance X with complete plant digital twin, was able to identify and quantify the negative impact by the feedwater heaters at low load. The client was then able to make data-driven decisions to update its operational philosophy by bypassing the feedwater heaters at low load, resulting in a 7% increase in Plant Power Production.
